Applications
As the wind approaches and strikes the ventilator, it creates an area of low pressure on the leeward side of the turbine, facilitating continuous extraction of air from the building. As the turbine rotates, centripetal forces fling air outwards from the tips of the vanes, drawing in replacement air from the building’s interior through the throat of the ventilator.
